yes it can do grey but isnt recommended on large area's since it basically flickering every frame on and off wich is making game slower (little bit slower)

to put it simple NO MORE CHESS please, chess is banned on this topic its kinda stopping any other creative ideas to come true (i will still allow "chess-like" board games like arimaa)

Has someone recommended chess yet? I think chess would be nice. :P But in all seriousness I think a battleship-esque game would be simple and enjoyable. Unfortunately I can't claim to be a fantastic artist so I'll try to explain it.

- Start with a 10x10 grid
- Move each battleship with D-pad and rotate left or right with A/B buttons, place with start
- Once each ship is placed you see a blank 10x10 grid (the computers) and begin to select a grid
- Once selected you either get a grey (hit) or black (miss) dot in the center of said grid square
- You then see a blank screen (yours) and watch the computer do the same thing
- Go back and forth until one person (or a computer) sinks enemies battleships

You could probably replace moving with the D-pad and placing with start by having only able to move up, down, and left with right placing it and moving to the edge of the screen would then move it to the other side clearing up the start button for a menu but making moving the ships a little bit harder.

@SilentSpy: The joke's on you :p

What adekto meant: sue (law)
What he wrote sew (yarn)
What you mean: sow (seed)

Anyway - there are a lot of non native english speakers here so we should not nitpick :)

I dun' goofed. I didn't mean to make it sound like I was nitpicking so my apologies if I did. I guess I don't want to be a sweater either.

I thought about Gomoku but that uses a 15x15 grid playing field which is way too small on a 84x48 screen

Bonus: Another chess attempt using a minimap and a zoomed-in view
