I think that the Virus type should be like how the Dragon type was in Gen 1 of Pokémon: there were very few, and they were considerably powerful.

EDIT: Story-wise it could be the form that buinomon originally have before acclimating to the environment. Thus the reason why they have few weaknesses but no considerable strengths either. And also why there are so few.

wel idk u can have buinomon before acclimating to natures be mor elike ditto style gunk half materialized into realety

i also have a suggestion for the environment, "servers" that or now old and abandoned buildings that have some weird ghostly phenomenon and like room that are dark voids and distant from reality
virus type comes from actually malicious software from olden times

about setting i was wondering that we are half and half in modern times and fantasy post apocalypse
in areas

Sorry I haven't been contributing much lately, I have been away for a while due to school but am free now. Is it possible if I could help with art in further development as well?

I quite like the idea of the virus type doing its own thing. In battle, they could be just like normal buinós but with a small chance of 'glitching'. The glitches could include doing unique virus attacks that are super-effective on all other types; lagging which makes them miss their turn and, for a bit more balance, crashing which makes them switch out. Virus-Buinós could also have the even smaller chance of glitching opposing buinós which makes them do the same thing or, if it's not too detrimental, could make the virus faint/ malfunction/ shut down.

On a different note, here are two dark Buinós known as Aphoraze and Gluttaws. Gluttaws would be an earth type (if we decide to keep it) and both could be water if you guys don't think they suit the dark category.

By the way, I would definitely enjoy being part of the art team. :)

is everyone ok with other people (the art team) to redo your work?
this is more or less for the balancing of the artwork so they all look like there in the same universe

the winner designs are a bit of a guide line

Honestly, i think virus should be a type, but maybe have less buinomon of the virus type, and make them hard to find.
