I modded my Gamebuino to have different colors for the LEDs that represent what is going on in the system. Power is white, charging is red, charged is green, and TX and RX are both blue. It was pretty easy to melt the solder on either side of one of the LEDs in quick succession and then, while the solder was still melted, push the LED off the board with tweezers. I then replaced the old LEDs with new ones of varying colors. Here's a video:
