Using a Wifi shield (or some variant thereof) probably isn't an option, the only way to connect to the SPI interface is via the ICSP port and Rodot's already noted that the header pins won't fit under the front plate. Personally I think the easiest way to give Gamebuino Wifi capability is probably going to to be an i2C-to-UART chip connected to a UART-to-Wifi module i.e. one of these:

...and one of these...

(You could probably get away with replace that bulky antenna with something smaller). Another option might be to replace the Wifi adapter with a bluetooth adapter and set up your mobile phone as a portable hotspot:

Just a not about the ICSP header: you can use a right angle header for it to fit under the acrlic case.

Right, but you won't be shipping them with that, will you? So it may as well not exist :)

Interesting photo, based on the file name this was an earlier version of Gamebuino, yes? The acrylic face plate that you posted on Indiegogo the other day had holes drilled to match the components on this version i.e. the speaker on the left and the C button on the right. I also notice that this version had an earphone jack, which presumably would have muted speaker sound when they were plugged in?

Yep, that's a previous version of Gamebuino. But the earphone jack was used for... I2C! Jack cables are really common and cheap. But it was too confusing, so I abandoned the idea.

Actually I realize that it would be really cool to have access to the ICSP port for SPI modules... let me look into that, it might be possible. But you would need a CS pin, so you module should be connected on both ICSP and I2C ports. as they are right angled, that seem difficult. Moreover, it will look ugly to have a module on the left of the Gamebuino, and won't be really ergonomic.

Maybe someone could use the I2C for a earphone jack  .
Please let it be possible *fingers crossed*!

Have a look at the TI CC3000 SoC. Adafruit sells a breakout board for it.

Bluetooth to UART is the easiest way and with this you can add games from your pc over Bluetooth
