converting various chiptune formats

Postby albertinjo » Sat Aug 16, 2014 10:45 am

Gamebuino music library is really good, so I just had to post a video of my gamebuino running R0d0ts music playback demo

It would be nice if the gamebuino toolkit could convert various chiptune fromats into code, which you would just place into your game. Is there a plan of adding this feature in later versions of gamebuino toolkit?

I don't personally plan to make a chiptune converter because most of the chiptune formats uses things not supported by the Gamebuino, like samples, fancy effects and whatnot. Anyway I have the make the Gamebuino tracker first :P
But I wouldn't be surprised if someone came out with a chiptune converter, given the awesome pieces of code we see popping out on the forum :D
Thanks for the video!
