What you mean? Arduboy is 128x64 you can fit that with both displays, you can't double pixel with 220px.

Color version of an old Metroid-like mockup.

True, I was thinking many things when I wrote that.

The reason I dropped the 160x128 was that 84x48 Gamebuino games didn't fit without modification.

Requests? Joust!

If you make the graphics, I'll code it (or someone else will I'm sure). I'm sure you'll make it look a lot better than if I drew it.

Actually... I do have a prototype Joust game for the Gamebuino, never got around to complete it though, its hard to fit in the small screen and scrolling through the field was extremely confusing. The extra 16 vertical pixels would help a lot.

...and then...
Triple Dragon! The arcade! :D

It might be only me, but I have some trouble working with the palette, I miss some extra dark tones to split things from the background.
Maybe it is just about getting used to it. It was quite hard to create the characters though and they could benefit more work.

Here a palette analyse with DBTools scripts on Grafx2.
It might give some ideas.

Here a generic 256 colors palette to be used as reference.

And here ours, there are some nice dithered possibilities!

I mostly use them when converting an original game palette to fit ours when creating a mockup. :)
