Time for another quick and dirty mock up. First one to guess what this is gets a thumb up.

hmmm, it must be Jill of the jungle?

Some criticism, keep the dark outline on the characters and use something else for darker tones on the BKG.
Wonderful stuff none the less!

Haha, well, the criticism is right, but I didn't want to spent a lot of time on this, so I used the closest color in the Gamebuino palette and made it look as close to the original NES game as possible. I'll readily admit that that background with black lines is terrible.
