That is the hardest distribution you could possibly choose!
For all that don't know what Arch is, it is a distribution that starts you out with only a command prompt. However, you do get to customize it all the way.
Why did you get Arch?
(and also, could you show me a snapshot of your desktop? I'd love to see how you have made your own system.)

Arch is not that different from straight Debian... and its still more user friendly than Gentoo. ;)

Emulator on mac

Postby ndavidsf » Thu Jul 24, 2014 7:16 pm

I saw all the great work everyone was doing on the emulator and I was wondering if anyone is making one for mac, or if there already is one.

Thanks

Mmmh, this question has already been asked on page 7... it seems that it would be straightforward to compile deneth's emulator for mac. If anybody does, please share your binaries!

Emulator on Mac

Postby yodasvideoarcade » Thu Jul 24, 2014 9:20 pm

I'm getting confused ... is there actually a fully working emulator that works on Mac? Maybe even with sound?
If so, where to download and how to install?
Please, some simple instructions. Thanks folks!

The only emulator out there is Deneth's emulator. It doesn't support sound. It should be possible to compile it for Mac and linux, but for now nobody did it so we only have Windows executable.
