Advice on general approaches or feasibility and discussions about game design

Blockdude

Soooo, yesterday I started making a Blockdude clone!
Blockdude is a fun little puzzle game where you lift blocks and move them around to help you to get to the finish.

The engine is fully working, I already put in the original 11 levels. I need to make some level picker, somehow save which ones you won at and maybe add some level editor, who knows?

Also, I suck at making good screenshots, i need to record the desktop and stuff and the gifs just turn out over-the-top large ^^

Oh, and, if anyone wants to make me some cover art thingy for that loader screen thingy and some icon that would be eeeeepic :3

EDIT: Have a demo attached!
EDIT2: i didn't mention the controls, lol
left/right: move
up: move up
down: pick up block / put down block
hold down A: now use arrow keys to look around
hold down B for a bit: reset
C: menu

Thanks a lot, your images are quite awesome!

Also, I'm happy to announce that the game is done!

The thing is, though, that i can't get simbuino to run and thus I don't really have a good way of making screenshots.....so would anybody mind making some for me? The repo including the hex etc. can be found here: https://github.com/Sorunome/blockdude-gamebuino

Very nice !
I've played this game on my old TI-84+ Silver Edition...
And the game looks to be the same !

Is it finished ?

Hey!
I was playing your game and find it really cool, but the controls really bugs me. I feel it would be more intuitive tu use "left" and "right" to move (including when you climb on a crate, instead of "up"), and the "A" button to pick up/drop crates (instead of "down"). You could remap the view button to "B" instead of "A". I got really confused with you controls, but hey, maybe that's just me
Anyway, kewl game :)
