[Released] Copter Strike

Hey there!

Here is a small demo of the project I'm currently working on: Copter Strike.
Inspired, indeed, by games like Soviet Strike, or Nuclear Strike.

I still have a lot of bug to fix, difficulty to adjust and features to add (if possible)... but I wanted to share it!

How I loved Desert Strike on genesis :D

Do you plan on adding music/sounds (the copter one) ?

Nuclear strike on the PS1 was one of the first game I played :D You 'demake' look very nice and promising !

Thanks all! :D Your positive feedback gave me additional motivation to move forward!
By the way, I wanted to thanks Clement particularly since he gave me the idea with his Choplifter-like. :)

About music / sound I already put some (on player fire, on ennemy fire and on explosion). I'll try to add some helix sounds as well, but sounds are consuming cpu, and I'm already seeing concerning pikes (see number next to ammo bar), so don't expect music :)

About moves, I'm not 100% convinced by the way I'm currently using buttons:
A to shoot, B to land (that's good).
If A is pressed, helicopter direction is not changing (=straff).
This means Player need to shoot to avoid changing direction. I'll try to replace A per B since we can only land when copter is not moving...

If you don't plan to land everywhere, you can try to make the player land only if he is standing above a heliport, saving you one button.

You're right. Initially, I wanted to save some guys... But based on Sorunome's comment about Clement's Choplifter...

Just tried it, took me some time to realize i was supposed to pick up the people and not shoot them...LOL


I think that's better to KILL THEM ALL! :)
