I like Joust, so let's make that game for the Gamebuino!

But you can't call it "Joust".

:lol: Okay then, I'll just call it:

Currently, there is:
  • Physics
  • Options
  • Sprite Switching
  • Mock-up of the playing field

I hope to make this game faithful, while also adding a few elements of my own.

You don't really have to change the name. Its an old and now obscure game for old collector platforms, nobody will complain about it. But its good to know if somebody ever asks.

I think this name is actually more fitting.
You do have to be higher than your enemies(whenever I can add them in), so they would be "Struck Down".

Update:
  • Enemies!
  • Eggs!
  • Pterodactyl! (It's "unbeatable")
  • Stage counter!
  • Crumbling stage!

Yes, the pterodactyl is quite amazing.

UPDATE!:
  • There's no bouncer enemy in Joust? Fine I got rid of it.
  • Changed the name of the Floater to the Bounder( to be more connected)
  • There was a major bug that if an egg fell off, you wouldn't be able to continue.

I'm still trying to put a lives counter on the bottom of the screen, but I'm not sure how to do it.

This is sort of a dev blog, I guess.

Since school started today, I'm saying this now:
For obvious reasons, my work will slow down.

Another thing: I'm not sure if this game is finished.
I suppose it is, since it's pretty playable in my opinion, but at some point I'll put it in the games section.
