The Gamebuino I ordered hasn't actually arrived yet but I've been doing some experimentation with things, and I was wondering - what's the best way to make and store tile maps? Or for that matter, non tile maps. I was playing with making a Binding of Isaac type game but I wasn't sure how to store the positions of rooms that had been travelled through. Would an array work, and if so, how? Also, how would you create a world more in the Legend of Zelda style?

I'm really looking forward to my Gamebuino arriving so that I can play with the 'real thing'.
