Dog and Bones

Postby tsl » Mon Jun 29, 2015 3:18 pm

Hi, since we've built gamebuino clone (see hardware section) with my 11yo son we've started game develpment already.
It's in phase alpha (say POC) but we plan to finish it this week.

Scenario is simple: you're the dog and you need to bring all (9) bones to you doghouse within 99 seconds. You'll have some bonus stuff and of course some obstacles. And of course levels with gradual difficulty.
Basic mechanics is made. One level is playable.

Here it is: https://github.com/tsulej/Dog-Bones

Game will be released after we finish it. We'll try to post our progress in comments.

Enjoy!

Are you using fonts as gfx?
That is really super! my first games were done with fonts back on the trs80-color days. :)

Yep. Exactly. Fonts as graphics is good option for first time. I plan to make roguelike game later, using fonts is (almost :)) obligatory in this genre.
