DOWNLOAD LINK

In the ZIP, you can find:
-the .HEX file. This is the game. Copy this to your SD card
-the .INF file. This is a file that contains the name, icon and slide screen of the game. It's not mandatory, but it makes the game prettier :). Copy this to your SD card too.
-the .INO file. This is the source code of the game. In case you want to take a look. Constructive critique is welcomed :)
-if you need an emulator, download one here.

GITHUB REPOSITORY

Notes:
The game is in beta state, so expect some bugs. Also, it is very simple for what the console has to offer, but I think it's more "classic" this way :)

Any constructive critique is welcomed! ;)

Uau! I´m extremely aware of what this is about. Superb work, will check it out soon as my gamebuino charges up.
How are the bitmaps done?

Thanks, great to see someone liking my work :)

About the bitmaps, just used paint. I traced the menu slides from the original Fire Game&Watch (an image I found online), and the rest... Well... As I'm no artist, I kept it simple :)

Hey @ladsoft , I made some gfx for your game with some changes to position and layout.
It is probably not perfect or anything but if you feel like using it or not, be my guest.

Some position may need fixing when the guys are bouncing and I forgot to do the fires spitting out of the building.
Here an animated gif and the .psd file to check the graphics in full.

Cheers.

@erico, that is awesome!

I will add those graphics to the game as soon as I can, and will give you credit of course!

Thank you very much! :)

Hey, @erico!

I have finished updating the game to accomodate your graphics. I have added a menu and kept an option with the old graphics too.

Now I have to front the flickering problem. I'll be trying things to avoid it.

Thanks again! :)

Nice, will give a try later today.
If the grey areas are causing too much trouble flicker wise, I can probably reduce its use.
Cheers.

Edit: Otherwise, the flickering would most likely come in hand if they were the flames. ;)
