[SOLVED]Driver install problems on windows 8

my gamebuino is fine to play games and everything but the gamebuino is called FT232R USB UARTand when I try to install the driver for it on the screen it displays 'Windows could not find driver software for your device' and then nothing else happens. I have tried to use it on a different computer that uses windows xp rather than 8 and searched the internet but I get the same results.

There have been a number of problems with Win8 installs over the past few weeks due to a recent Windows update. If you look at the thread titled [SOLVED] Driver Confusion! you can read all the details including a link to the driver and step-by-step instructions for getting it working under Win8. That should be enough to get you going, if not then be sure to post an update here.
