For problems with Gamebuino itself, NOT your project

So, today I received my second gamebuino (yay!) but I have the issue that it isn't recognized by the computer.
On my first gamebuino, which is working, this is what happens when plugging in:
RX and TX LEDs flash twice and then remain off, the battery charging LED is obviously on.
Then the arduino noticed the new port and automatically switches to /dev/USB1
On the new (not-working) one when i plug the usb in simply the RX and TX LEDs are constantly on and nothing else happens.
Perhaps there is a new USB chip?
EDIT: nevermind, using a different cable is working....weird

Depending on stocks the cable provided with the Gamebuino might do charging only, and no data transfer.
Anyway I'm glad you solved your problem

Yeah I use 3rd party cables anyways and the weird thing was that that exact cable works for the old gamebuino but not for the new one
