Is it normal for the acrylic panels to be broken?

Basically, what's in the title. I've been gifted a brand new Gamebuino two days ago and I couldn't help but notice that there are evident cracks near screws in the front acrylic panel. The back panel has only some minor scratches near the edges, but I'm guessing those are just a result of the cutting procedure.

I'm attaching two pictures for reference, although it turns out that it's really hard to get the cellphone camera to focus on such a tiny, transparent object

If sometimes happen when they tighten the screw too much, but it won't happen in the new batches. I usually enclose a spare case with every Gamebuino, you didn't get one ?

Haha, that's ironic as the back panel was almost completely unscrewed and was bouncing all around

But yes, I did get two brown spare panels, are those it?

Yes, you only have to remove the brown paper protection, or you can keep it and draw on it :)

I swear I tried to do that over and over, I was starting to think it wasn't removable at all. Haha thank you

Yeah it's pretty hard to remove, the trick it to scratch one part with the corner of the other, so you don't scratch it as it's the same hardness ;)

Are there any cases that cover sides of the device, perhaps?
I feel like I could break it at any given time haha

Totally unrelated, but I'm the same guy from this post:

Assuming I make it to the Maker Faire, could I have a replacement top acrylic?

Let's not get topics mixed up ^^
Well as a replacement case was already included why would want you yet another one ?
You can 3D print a case if you want, the 3D files of the Gamebuino PCB can be found in the Hardware page.

I know the case of the Gamebuino is one of it's flaws, along with the screen. But worry not, it's going to change.

So that I could do as suggested and either let my girlfriend or little sister draw on the other one haha

Don't worry about it mate, and actually sorry that I even asked. I'm just nitpicking. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend if I can make it, and congratulations on the badass project and growth!
