Bad Screen Contrast

Postby TheSpikeFactory » Mon Dec 19, 2016 10:11 pm

Certainly haven't been here in a while.

On my Gamebuino, I have my contrast set to 30, so I could see the screen just fine. But, when I enter certain games, the contrast goes out of whack and I can barely see what's going on. Is there a solution to this?

Those games might have been compiled with an old version of the library, either try to re-download them or compile them yourself with the latest version of the gamebuino library.

Also, every time I try to fix the connection between the screen and the PCB by moving the display, it just ends up fading again.

That is because while moving around the screen you change how well the contacts work, thus the contrast changes. Just set your screen contrast and then don't move the screen anymore

No. After I posted that, my screen faded, and I tried to fix the connection. But every time I got it, it faded again.

I've tried moving the screen. It appears but then slowly fades.
