[SOLVED] Bootloader Update (Gamebuino)

How do i Update the Bootloader from the Gamebuino?
Do i really need another arduino or can i do it over USB?

The bootloader in the early bird's Gamebuino is the latest version (r11), you don't have to update it.
If you still want to burn the bootloader, you need a programmer. You can use another arduino as isp, or buy a cheap usbasp module.

Oh ok, by my Gamebuino it dont wait for the a press to start the game.
And I have read that are new features are available for the game list...

It doesn't depend on the bootloader.
Just update loader.hex to get the updated game list.
Update settings.hex, load it and select "default settings".

Ohhhh, Wasn't sure what sort of device it would need. I imagine the bootloader might get an update or two over the GB's lifetime, so it might be handy to have one... So something like this thing would work?

I had some problems with uabtinyisp, and usbasp are cheaper (about $2.5) and works fine for me.

huh, should've just dropped that into Ebay... so they are cheaper, by quite a bit... Thanks Rodot!
