[SOLVED]Uploading and screen problems

Postby Moichacho » Sat Aug 02, 2014 5:10 am

I had just gotten my Gamebuino and I proceeded with the Getting Started. I have completed everything to what it says. Unfortunately the hello example will not upload to the gamebuino. Please tell me what could be wrong.

Also, I am looking at the 3d demo and I get a weird picture. Such as looking at the ghost. 1/3 or the roght side on the screen is a weird wall while having the ghost in the middle, I can see the bottom of it on the top of my screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why can't you upload your program, what is the error you get?

About the 3D demo, this is a know bug because Myndale didn't use the official Gameuino library. More info here.

My apologies for not looking more into the screen problem, thank you for the link.

As for the hello example, when I click update, all I get is:

java.lang.NullPointerException
at processing.app.debug.Compiler.compile(Compiler.java:108)
at processing.app.Sketch.build(Sketch.java:1590)
at processing.app.Sketch.exportApplet(Sketch.java:1613)
at processing.app.Sketch.exportApplet(Sketch.java:1599)
at processing.app.Editor$DefaultExportHandler.run(Editor.java:2380)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:619)

Any help would be appreciated. Also, I am still fairly new to programming(6months) and I was wondering if this would be labeled as a beginner mistake.

**EDIT**
My apologies, I had looked at my boards.txt after commenting on another thread. I realized I did not get all the #'s on the bottom of the copy I was supposed to paste.
