Hey,
If you want to try the new loader and the inf encoder, you'll find it enclosed.
Simply copy the .HEX and .INF to your micro SD card.
Execute InfEncoder.jar to make your own INF files (requires Java JRE 1.7 or newer).
Everything should work fine, if you find any bug please tell me !

Hello chaps,
Will give this a try through this weekend.

Before, about the icons, I didn´t mean fully redundant, but just a little bit.
They serve more as a pointer than a preview as is is.

If the slides are going to do the preview part, then there just may be a better way to do the pointers.

I haven´t come around time to do the mocks yet, hopefully this weekend as I test this boot loader.
I like what we have so far, I kind of think we should go this way and a GUI will be too much of a longer step.
But I will try to mock it up anyways, if no good, then maybe a bit of work on what we have so far.

Cheers.

Hi , I just test it.

I prefer the 5*3 Grid, more game in one screen.

But all added feature are awesome !

Thx for your work :)

Hi,
Just discovered this feature... Just AWESOME!
I'll create my inf files for my games right now!

Any possibility to make this feature more visible on the website?

Thanks Rodot!

Hey,
It's still a beta version, I was waiting for some feedback before I officially release it ;)

I just merged the beta branch of the Gamebuino library into the master, and added the inf encoder to the download page.
Here's a quick video showcasing it :

Is this version of the loader the same as the one installed in the recently send Gamebuinos ? Just to know if I have to update it.

Nice video! I should update my gamebuino soon.
Never got around the time to finish the OS mock, but it looks fine as it is.
Maybe in the future.

Also, you could do a new post with that video to tell everyone about the changes. ;)
